Way studied than expected : Canwood Whistler Junior Loft Bed - Cherry
I put this together last night and it took about 1-1/2 hours. It's sturdier than I thought, given some of the reviews. I didn't find any wiggle in it, so makes me wonder if some people didn't tighten down the hardware correctly or evenly.
Some people had issues with the ladder being straight up and down. I connected the top part of the ladder in the lower attaching point so the ladder now sits on the floor at an angle - problem solved.
This is a nice piece, and regardless of price, worth getting. My 3-1/2 yo son loves being in a big boy bed.
I am a professional engineer, and a mechanic as a hobby, so not a novice putting these things together.
